FELLINGFelling the entire tree where space allows, accurately guiding the tree to fall in the correct direction.
SECTIONAL FELLING Sectional felling is usually carried out in areas where space and safety is a problem, for example close to buildings or near a public road. This again is done in a controlled manner, lowering limbs and branches with ropes.
DEAD WOODINGThis is normally done to avoid hazardous branches falling on to buildings, vehicles or the public.
CROWN RAISINGCrown lifting is the selective removal of the lower branches of a trees crown to increase the distance between the base of the canopy and ground level. For example this can be done to allow traffic to pass underneath on a road or to allow more light into a property.
STORM DAMAGEIf you have suffered storm damage to your trees, it is a good idea to call in the professionals to deal with the resulting mess.
Storm damaged trees can be extremely dangerous to be around and should only be approached once ALL safety checks have been carried out.
CHIPPING We use a Timberwolf chipper which is the most sustainable way to get rid of waste.
