24/7 emergency response
Tree down? Branch through the roof? Call us now.
Storms don't wait for office hours. Neither do we. Wyvis carries out-of-hours emergency response across Moray, Inverness and the Scottish Highlands for storm-damaged and unstable trees.
When to call
Any of these, and you shouldn't wait.
Tree blocking a road, drive or path
We can clear and make safe — for councils, estates, or homeowners.
Tree on a building or vehicle
Careful dismantling above property — insurance-liaison work undertaken.
Hung-up or partially fallen tree
The most dangerous state a tree can be in — do not walk under it.
Broken limb hung in the crown
Will fall — the question is when and on what. We can climb & retrieve.
New lean after high winds
Root-plate failure often starts silently — we'll assess and advise.
Tree on power lines
Call SSEN first (105); we can attend after lines are isolated.
While you wait for us
- ·Keep people and pets well clear — think the full height of the tree plus a third.
- ·Don't stand under hung limbs or leaning trees to take photos.
- ·If power lines are involved, call SSEN on 105 before anyone approaches.
- ·Photograph the damage once it's safe — helpful for insurance.
- ·If you can, cordon off the area so visitors can't wander in.
